About Tarihle
Tarihle is a small game for discovering what happened on this day in history in a few minutes. The aim is to explore what happened, rather than just memorize dates.
How are questions prepared?
Questions are prepared in advance for each day of the year; the game does not generate new questions with AI each day. Texts were written with AI assistance and draw on events listed on Wikipedia's calendar pages. Editorial source review is ongoing. You can find source links in question explanations and general credits on the Sources and licenses page. Let us know if you find an error.
How is the game funded?
The game is free. The iOS version may show banners outside questions and ads after completed sets. The optional one-time Tarihle+ purchase removes these ads; there is no subscription. The web version currently has no ads.
Your data
You can start as a guest. On the web, anonymous usage statistics require your permission; in the iOS app they are on by default. You can turn them off in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
